Within a couple of months the light rail called Randstad rail will stop at some 100 meters from our school! We will just have to pass the shopping mall! I selcted a nice picture of the tram/train for you. Love and kisses, Anna van Dijk.

I think that it is a good idea because the people can see the school when they travel in this "randstand rail", but for the students it is dangerous when they croos the railway. This is the only inconvenience.
Thanks for your comment!!You are right: trams and light rail trains make almost no noise so they can be very dangerous. A couple of years ago the father of one of our students was hit by a tram in Utrecht and died in that accident. And perhaps you know that the famous Spanish architect Gaudi died the same way in Barcelona (in 1920, I think) So we shall take care, crossing the tracks!!
Yes, Carlos, you are right as well. In fact a lot of students come to school by tram , particularly when it is raining. But most of the Hofstadstudents come by bike. Also a perfect way to pare the environment!! How do you come to school? By FEVE?
The light rail train is good. It is moderm and very beautiful. It is like our high speed train (AVE in spanish).I am glad that the train goes near your school. It must be nice going to school by train. I go to school in a red bus. The best about the train isits speed. David Pérez, from IES Cuenca del Nalón in La Felguera, Spain
